  I was really excited to try the cupcakes of the new local bakery in town. I must say, I was very disappointed. I bought three different kinds of cupcakes for my family to sample. I was very surprised how small the cupcakes were, especially for $2.00 a cake. The cupcakes I bought ranged in size (even though I paid the same for each of them.) The smallest cupcake didn't even come close to filling the individual cupcake holder. The chocolate cake was somewhat on the dry side. The vanilla cake was more moist. The icing was the worst part. The buttercream was totally separated leaving the texture of the icing like sand due to the sugar granules that did not dissolve. I hope this small business will make a go of it, but they need a new icing recipe and if they want people in Washington, PA to pay $2.00 for a cupcake they need to be larger and taste much better.

  more cupcakes! Everyone was so friendly and the desserts were delicious. There was a great variety and even though I didn't get to try all the options, it was so delicious I can't wait to go back to try more of what they have to offer.
